Ledge Shelves
« on: March 16, 2020, 06:27:54 PM »
Some simple shelves that I made for my office.  I work from home full time, not due to the current state of affairs.  Needed a spot to display some of the kids artwork and a few pictures.  Wanted something a bit better to look at than the cheap ledge shelves from Walmart and the like...  Threw these together this weekend from a few pieces of ambrosia maple.  One is 48" long, other is 32" long.  Simply flattened and dimensioned the boards, dado in the back piece (mounted to wall), glued in the shelf, and added a few keyhole slots (that I did upside down the first time around...  :o).  Built on Saturday, finished yesterday, hung today.
